Aluminium Flexi-block

The new Techne® Flexi-block accessory is ideal for heating samples stored in 0.2ml, 0.5ml, 2.0ml and 5.0ml micro tubes, as well as any diameter test-tube, vial or cuvette. Flexi-blocks are available in 2 sizes; double-width (for 2-block heaters) or triple-width (for 3-block heaters). Unskirted PCR plates can be heated in either Flexi-block, although SKIRTED microtitre plates, deep-well plates and PCR plates can only be incubated in the triple-width version.

Aluminium Dri-block inserts

Manufactured from anodised aluminium, Techne has the widest choice of interchangeable block inserts of any manufacturer. This allows Techne Dri-Block® heaters to accommodate the widest variety of microtubes, test tubes, cups, plates, cuvettes and vials on the market, resulting in the most flexible Dri-Block® heater range available. Techne Dri-Block® inserts are either single-width to accommodate a wide variety of tubes and vials, double-width to accommodate microtitre and PCR plates or triple width to accommodate select consumables. Most blocks have a separate hole to accommodate a thermometer if required. Techne® also offer a half-width plastic spacer, commonly used in the Techne® FSC496D Sample Concentrator.
