SMARTSENTRY®

  • Sentinel(ICU)已有20年以上開發用於處理變壓器油的吸附劑的經驗,並已開發出不僅能乾燥變壓器油,也能去除老化變壓器油中所存在的酸性、溶解污泥及其它極性化合物的吸附劑。其經驗引領著Sentinel(ICU)成為世界第一且唯一採用其通過驗證且獨家的吸附劑技術,而設計及推出變壓器線上絶緣系統狀態調節裝置。至今,在許多國家,已有超過130套Sentinel (ICU)系統在使用中。我們在歷經18個月以上對其中一些系統進行分析後,得以運用及代表我們的客戶設計及運作一套全面的濕氣管理計劃。
  • 從一開始,這些客戶的願望,就是建立一個能滿足以下需求的系統:a)不受老化油中發現的極性污染物影響;b)符合成本效益;c)可靠及d)容易安裝操作。
  • 接下來的合理步驟,就是將線上乾燥/淨化解決方案與一套全年全天候監測油質的線上絶緣油狀態監測系統互相結合,以確保絶緣油品質及高壓變壓器的運轉,能識別臨界操作狀態、過載,進而預防資產設備損壞。此套線上監測系統就是cmc OilQSens® OQ 3000絶緣油狀態監測系統。此兩套獨特系統的結合,便是SmartSentry®系統。其安裝概略圖及典型的SmartSentry®變壓器安裝範例,如圖1及圖2所示。

  • 經過比較試驗的結果:
    • 一家大型公用事業公司進行了一項試驗 - 兩台姐妹變壓器都安裝了乾燥系統。一台採用傳統分子篩,另一台採用Sentinel (ICU)解決方案。下圖3顯示出在經過6個月時間後,這兩台系統在a)水份減少及b)酸性方面的比較。​​

  • THE SMARTSENTRY® SYSTEM Overview:
    • The Sentinel (ICU) has been borne out of more than 20 years of development of adsorbents for the processing of transformer oils. This enabled the development of an adsorbent that not only dries the transformer oil, but also removes acidity, dissolved sludge and the other polar compounds that are present in aged transformer oil.
    • This experience led to the design and introduction of the Sentinel (ICU) as the worlds first, and only, online, transformer insulation system conditioning unit, utilising this well proven and proprietary adsorbent technology. With now more than 130 Sentinel (ICU) systems in use in a number of countries and with more than a 18 months of analysis on some of these system to draw upon we are able to design and operate a comprehensive moisture management programme on behalf of our clients. From the outset, the desire was to produce a system that was; a) unaffected by the polar contaminants found in aged oils, b) cost effective, c) reliable and d) easy to install and operate.
    • The next logical step was to combine the online drying and purifying solution with an online oil condition monitoring system to monitor the oil quality 24/7/365 to ensure the oil quality and the high voltage transformer operation identifying critical operation conditions, overloading to prevent damage to the assessment. The online monitoring system is called: OilQSens® OQ 3000 oil sensor system. The combination of both unique systems is titled: SmartSentry® system. Installation scheme and typical SmartSentry® transformer installations are shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2.

  • RESULTS FROM COMPARISON TRIAL:
    • A major utility ran a trial where two sister transformers were fitted with drying systems. One was a conventional Molecular sieve and the other the Sentinel (ICU). The graphs below show the performance of both systems over a 6-month period, with regard to a) moisture reduction and b) acidity.

  • INTERFACES:
    • The SmartSentry online transformer oil cleaning solution and condition monitoring system can be adjusted to your needs, providing all kind of industrial digital interfaces (RS232, LAN, CAN, Profibus, …) to be implemented in your existing CMS environment or using the cmc Instruments CMS server. The system is easy to retrofit into existing high voltage transformers.

    • The power industry is strongly working towards solutions for the technological advancements currently reshaping the industrial world: what is called Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is the fourth industrial revolution, where the brainpower that has gone into creating apps for smartphones is creating applications for smart factories (see figure 4).
